5月23日 CCS RC1 is installed successfully!We installed CCS RC1 to our window cluster with Sempron processor last week. Both CCP and our MDO applications worked well. CCS can also run on AMD Sempron!AMD Sempron is not in the CCS supported processors list. According to“Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 System Requirements”, CCS officially supports: — AMD Opteron — AMD Athlon 64 — Intel Xeon with Intel EM64T — Intel Pentium with Intel EM64T
However, CCS can also support Sempron. We built a windows cluster with Sempron several months ago and tested several versions of CCS from beta 2 to community preview #1. Everything worked well including the key components of CCP such as computer cluster job manager and administrator. |
